Vishal Sharma, 31
Businessman, Panchpakhadi
A 12 hour workload leaves vishal Sharma no time at the end of the day to relax, so he does his relaxing in between work!
Repairing mobile phones is extremely straining on his eyes, so he pays more attention to this part of his anatomy, more than any other. Walking the stairs to his workroom umpteen number times a day takes care of the physical fitness. One thing that he is passionate about is listening to music on his iPod. His collection of music is his constant companion during the day, as it has been for many years, and helps him de-stress considerably.
There are times when he feels like throwing a few extremely irritating mobiles - those that just don't seem to get fixed -out of the window. But he knows he cannot do this and in order to calm down he takes a few deep breaths and starts all over again. During the day he goes out and meets a lot of people in his line of work so the technological information and updates are happening all the time.
There is no concept of ‘weekends' in his life, and he has alternate Mondays off. That day is reserved for the family. He d oes rue the fact that his business does not give him any time to de-stress - a common complaint of all businessmen. He does realize that overworking could burn him out. So to beat this one of the things he does is walk to meet his contacts as this gives him exposure to fresh air during the day. But the best part of the day that he looks forward to is the time that he gets to play with his two-and-a-half-year-old twin daughters.
At night, after playing with his twins and spending time with his wife, watching a movie or catching up with the latest in news just about sums up the day before he sleeps at about one. Just as he begins the day with a puja after a bath in the morning, he ends the day with a small prayer thanking God for all that the day has given him and goes to sleep.
