Chakra check
Treating your seven energy centres, known as chakras, can "help keep a host of ailments under check. Nasser Lalljee helps you focus all your energies on healing
Modern technology has taught us a lot in terms of evaluating our bodies, both internally as well as externally. But the study of the invisible chakras, which are energy centres, has been largely ignored. However, in traditional healing, this is one aspect that is never ignored and a lot of healing takes place by treating these seven wheels that are situated along the spine. The location the these chakras in the etheric body corresponds directly to the placement of endocrine glands within the physical body.
The word ‘cjakra' is Sanskrit for wheel or disk and represents one of seven basic energy centres in the body. Each of these centres correlates to major nerve ganglia branching forth from the spinal column. In addition, the chakras also correlate to levels of consciousness, archetypal elements, colours, sounds, body functions, and much more. There are two minor chakras mentioned in the ancient texts, the soma chakra, located just above the third eye, and the Anandakanda lotus, which contains the Celestial Wishing Tree (Kalpataru) of the heart chakra.
The etheric body is an energy body of an extremely fine vibration enveloping the physical. Invisible but extremely active currents of energy interconnect them as the vibrations are absorbed by the etheric body and transmitted to the physical body via the endocrine glands. It is through these chakras that the exchange takes place.
Each chakra has a magnetic field of a specific expanse. An imbalance in this field will disturb the rest and a state of imbalance will be created. If one is out of order, the other one will also malfunction what is imperative at this point of time is that the balance of the chakras is restored as soon as possible, so that the body starts functioning as a whole again.
According to expert Vishwanath That the Shastri from Thane, “The seven major chakras are the root (muladhara), sacral (svadhisthana), solar plexus (manipura), heart (anahata), throat (vishudda), third eye (anja), and the crown (sahasrara), beginning at the base and continuing to the centre of the head. There are also numerous other minor chakras that help the flow of energy from the major chakras to the other.”
The human body never ceases to receive rays from the light in the universe, and while this is happening, the individual's aura is formed accordingly. A continuous process of study is required to start seeing the aura. A further in-depth study will show the body looking like liquid light passing in a particular way, mixing with each other in a governed manner. Once we meditate deeply on these lights getting to know where, how and which light the centre shows prominently, we get a good understanding of their proper function, movement and reactions. From the colours of the aura we can understand which chakra is malfunctioning. Once this is understood in detail then proper energy needs to be directed, thus balancing the chakras.
