Combining my love of traveling on my motorcycle with my unbridled enthusiasm of adventure, I explored the mountains of Thane, where the heart of the Yeoor Jungles are, visited the shrines of saints, situated 1300 feet up, trudging with friends Click To Enlarge
to the water falls, interacted with the forest department soaking up jungle lore, only salivated my passion for more.
(The Yeoor forest is on the other side of Borivli National Park.)
Kanheri Caves (Click To Enlarge) Next, in to the interiors of Maharashtra State on my trusted motorcycle, where I met local healers who had an in-depth knowledge of local plants and herbs with which they healed the locals of many dreaded diseases like psoriasis and more.
Not only was Ayurveda being used predominantly, but also Reiki, Acupuncture, Acupressure massages among a host of holistic healing were being used successfully. It was a joy to report their victories over diseases for a nominal, modest charge.

but yet, did not want anything free.
Forts and shrines
were eagerly scaled. Local history imbibed, photographed and promptly published in the Times of India Group for the public to share, visit places, share in the growth, picnic spots. De stressing surroundings were identified which would take a load of your mind, rejuvenating you.

now become second nature.
The amazing canvas of nature unfolded daily, unendingly showing vivid colours, landscapes that were eagerly captured on my camera trying humbly to replicate ethereal beauty on a picture postcard to be shared with one and all, and that hopefully will survive the greenery that is being depleted.
Today, after all these years of writing and photographing having completed many articles and many more photographs, a few websites including the one on Borivli National Park, which has won an award, I would like to share my knowledge with those who would like to view my information and pictures.
Some of the photographs can be viewed in the photo gallery section
